K9 Kibble opened for one simple reason: we love dogs. Precious was adopted in 2002. Over time, she had skin and stomach issues that we found to be associated to a sensitivity to corn. So we began researching the differences in dog food sold at big box stores versus food sold at independent stores.

We found it difficult to get nutritious USA made consumable products and when our veterinarian recommended that we find better quality food, we did not know what that meant or how to select it in the Big Box stores. This became the mission of our store…to offer great products and customer service to help our community select the appropriate products for their pets.

Nikki was born and raised in Kenosha, and fondly remembers downtown as a destination for all types of great products.

Today, we are proud to be part of the beautiful downtown business district, which offers many pet friendly stores! When you stop in ours, say hello to Reina, our Airedale Terrier—she’s excited to meet you and your dog. Reina has a beauty and magnetism that keeps people coming back to K9 Kibble.
